Chili’s
The Chili’s franchise owned by Brinkers of the USA was taken on by Arabian Food Supplies with the opening of the first restaurant in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in 1999.
In fact the first Chili’s location in the USA was a converted house in Dallas, Texas, which opened in 1975.The food was so popular that customers often lined up in the parking lot waiting for a table. At that time the menu consisted almost entirely of burgers, chillies, chilli tacos and fries.
The US South-western heritage is still present every day at Chili’s and is considered one of the oldest cuisines in the United States, it represents a mixture of the culinary heritages of Spain, Mexico and Native American tribes.
The first Chili’s in Saudi Arabia opened in Jeddah in 1999. Today, there are branches in Jeddah, Riyadh, Al-Khobar, Dhahran and Madinah totalling 70+ Middle East locations, further expansion plans are already under way with a new Chili’s Restaurant scheduled to open in the very near future in Jubail.
In Chili’s the table tile tops, vintage ceilings and posters take you back into retro space and a comfortable diner routine where you can dig into your all time favourites. For those concerned with their weight or shape, Chili’s prides itself on being the first restaurant in the Kingdom to have offered a variety of low fat and low carbohydrate platters in the Guiltless Menu, this without losing any of the flavour or succulence that has become associated with Chili’s dishes.
The Chili’s restaurants regularly introduce special promotional items which are included in the menu for a limited period (LTO’s)
Chili’s is constantly updating its menu to offer a discerning clientele a wider choice of superb South-western styled dishes.
Following the success and reputation gained in the market by the already operational Chili’s Restaurants the substantiated claim is clearly “No one does it like Chili’s”
