Catering Division

The Arabian Food Supplies (AFS) Catering and Support Services Division has, since its formation several decades ago been extensively involved in the Food Service sector. The division has continually improved and expanded its service to an extensive range of clients cross-section of business sectors, from Industrial, Health-Care and Educational to Military, Residential Compounds as well as operational and Franchise Restaurants.

These Catering services which include Contract Catering, Fine Dining and Facilities Management are provided by AFS to many leading companies, in both the state and private sectors, such as ARAMCO (Compound & Hospital), Prince Sultan Rehabilitation Center, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals.

Business and Industrial Sectors

Whether it is a works canteen, residential dining hall or an executive dining room, AFS aims to provide a nutritious and value for money package, as well as supplying culinary expertise. This has in turn established AFS as the “Contractor of Choice”.

Health Sectors

Correct nourishment is an important element in aiding the recovery of patients in any medical facility. To this end AFS ensures that it provides a healthy menu, rich in essential vitamins and nutrients. The Division is staffed by dietary experts who are able to plan and prepare food dishes to suit specific medical needs.

Apart from patient care, AFS also provides an efficient and effective food service for hospital and clinic staff, from the Management and Doctors right through to the Service Staff.

Hotel services are flexible with the changing needs of the patients to include a wide choice of menus and “cook to order” option.

Educational Sectors

Educational establishments from junior schools to universities and further education colleges, all have specific requirements in respect of Food Services. These range from set menu meals, to self-service counters with a cross-selection of food dishes.

At AFS, the experience and expertise in the food industry has enabled the division to operate effectively in educational establishments across the Kingdom in providing students with a choice of healthy diets.

Residential Compounds

AFS operates and manages a complete range of dining facilities and restaurants in a variety of compounds. These extend from the small bistro type unit on Executive Compounds to high turnover restaurants on very large corporate residential compounds. AFS is able to tailor its food service to suit any size of facility and has successfully operated many units across the Kingdom for several years.

Facility Management Services

AFS’s experience in the food management field has enabled the Company to utilize this knowledge in providing a Facility Management service to corporate organizations and universities. The aim of the service is to reduce operating costs, protect assets and improve stock control plus reduce wastage. It also improves employee’s health, safety and hygiene standards.
